As a Professor of Neurosurgery at Kathmandu Medical College (KMC), I contribute to shaping the future of medical education in Nepal. KMC, affiliated with Kathmandu University and recognized by the Nepal Medical Council (NMC) and Sri Lankan Medical Council (SLMC), has been a leader in medical training since 1997. We are committed to providing high-quality medical education and healthcare services, having produced over 2,000 MBBS doctors, 300+ postgraduate doctors, and hundreds of specialists in fields like BDS and nursing. Our campus boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including advanced labs, a 3 Tesla MRI, 128-slice CT scan, CathLab, and specialized units like a 40-bed NICU, 160-bed ICU, and robotic neurosurgery. KMC is dedicated to research, encouraging collaboration with over ten international institutions and supporting both student and faculty research.
