I know Amit as an honest and hardworking neurosurgeon who is keen to learn and give back to his community. He played a pivotal role in establishing the spine section of the Nepalese Society of Neurosurgeons (NESON). I know him since 2016, when we met at the World Spine 7 meeting in New Delhi. At this meeting, Dr. Thapa won the best paper award. As a prize, he was invited to spend two weeks at Cleveland Clinic with me. While here in July 2017, he presented his work on minimal access surgery for intra-medullary lesions. He is interested in spine care, and actively participated in the Cleveland Spine Review, our annual hands-on cadaver surgical training course.....

I am impressed by the level of respect given to patients and their families. They are included and informed completely. More doctors in Australia could afford their patients that level of respect. I also am impressed by the level of care despite the financial constraints…..
