As the Chairman of the Neuro-Spine Section of the Nepalese Society of Neurosurgeons, I, in collaboration with World Spine Care, ASSN, and the Ministry of Health of Nepal, have initiated the "National Spine Health Program." According to data from the Global Burden of Disease, low back pain is the leading cause of disability in Nepal.
Our goal is to ensure that individuals receive the right care at the right time, from the right team, in the right place. This initiative aims to strengthen the national health system’s capacity to deliver high-quality spine care effectively.
